Monochromous hue of darkness and ambiguity, and the sensual, seductive nature of velvett are used to highlight the psychic play of ‘memories’ within us. The three words visually suggest the operative mechanisms (and tensions) of memories, when either, simply ‘kept’, or ‘held’, forcefully ‘gripped’ (and its violence thereof).
