Desert Flower

The third of a series of symbolic homage to three women, and the craft of needle work. The work looks at an early work of Anita Dube ‘Desert Queen’, and her use of velvett to create a suspended sculpture. It pays an homage to Anita, with an oblique reference to androgyny.
