Sensation Samplers

The suite of these works are made in the guise of X Ray images; their visibility is dependent on a light source behind the work. These images, Like Xray images, these work images are also an internal imagery focusing on the body. The work proposes a visual articulation of seeing sensations of visual patterns that emerge from our body and become ideas. Unlike X Ray images, light becomes a contingent part of work imagery. The samplers are conceived as abstract images of materials and tools, layered together with light, to enlighten the internal dark patterns of thought perceptions. These abstracted forms have movement and are layers of embedded materiality that create a visual semblance of seeing an x-ray of our sense perception.
